Push your machine needle into the holder and it will grasp your needle and keep it steady while you install it in the machine. Place your thread in the groove in the other end, slide it down your needle shaft and push on the tube to insert the thread when you reach the needle's eye. A great help for the mature sewer.

Wonderful

This was a gift for a friend who has a horrible time threading her sewing needles and is embarrassed to ask for help all the time, now she is a happy camper, will by more, they make wonderful gifts

Handy needle threader

This is a very useful needle threader--the hook on one end is great for catching the threaded loop. I do not use the machine needle inserter end--I prefer to do that by hand.
