The descrition is very clear, it's the color of denim but absolutely a chambray. Other chambrays are double this price but this price and quality is perfect for clothing and quilting. Love this fabric! Thank you for providing an affordable, quality option.

Quality Chambray Fabric

Indigo chambray fabric

The color is dark and has the perfect look of denim but it is shirt weight. It is very stiff upon arrival, but softens after laundering. It's a little heavier than I expected.
