Hemstitch Needles

The Schmetz Hemstitch sewing machine needle has a wing on each side of the needle. At stitch creation, the wings spread the fabric for a unique stitch. The Hemstitch needle moves easily through light to medium weight loosely woven fabrics. Popular for heirloom sewing and decorative cutwork, the Hemstitch needle can be used in multi-media quilts.

The double hemstitch needle has 1 wing needle and 1 universal needle mounted on a cross-bar, allowing you to sew double rows of decorative stitching with an entredeux hole on 1 side.
